Programme title:

Cybersecurity Awareness Training Programme

Training provider:
SmartSec Academy OÜ

Purpose:
To improve learners' ability to recognise common cybersecurity risks and respond safely in everyday workplace situations.

Target group:
Employees, managers and business owners who use email, messaging platforms, online
accounts, cloud services or connected devices as part of their work.

Entry requirements:
No previous cybersecurity knowledge or technical experience is required.

Learning format:
Self-paced online training delivered through short video lessons with multilingual subtitles.

Programme duration:
Approximately 45 minutes, equivalent to 1 academic hour.

Language of instruction:
English audio with multilingual subtitles, including Estonian.

Learning outcomes:
On completion, learners can:
• recognise common phishing and social engineering risks
• identify suspicious requests involving urgency, payments or account access
• apply safer password and account-security practices
• assess links, attachments and messages before acting
• recognise remote work and cloud-sharing risks
• report suspected incidents promptly

Programme content:
Phishing, social engineering, passwords, device security, links, attachments, messaging, remote work, payment fraud, cloud sharing and incident reporting.

Completion requirements:
Complete all required lessons.

Certificate:
Learners who complete all required lessons receive a digitally issued, independently verifiable certificate.

The programme is self-paced and completed online.

Access:
Learners receive access through SmartSec Academy’s training platform.

Completion:
All required lessons must be completed.

Certificate issuance:
Certificates are issued after completion is recorded.

Learner responsibility:
Learners must use their own access details and provide accurate information.

Technical requirements:
A supported web browser, internet connection and device capable of video playback are required.

Support:
Technical or administrative questions can be submitted through SmartSec Academy’s published contact details.
