2. Eligibility and Authorised Use

• You comply with these Terms and applicable laws

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Services complies with your organisation’s internal policies.

3. Account Access and Security

Where access credentials are issued:

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details
• Accounts must not be shared or transferred without authorisation
• Any unauthorised access or suspected security issue should be reported promptly

SmartSec Academy may suspend or restrict access to protect platform integrity or security.

4. Training Content and Platform Use

Training content is provided for cybersecurity awareness and educational purposes only.

Users must not:

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute training content without permission
• Attempt to bypass assessments, tracking, or completion controls
• Interfere with platform functionality or security mechanisms
• Use the Services in a way that disrupts other users or organisations

5. Certificates and Verification

Certificates are issued only upon confirmed completion of required training and assessments.

• Certificates represent participation and completion, not professional accreditation
• Certificate verification is available via reference-based validation
• Certificates must not be altered, misrepresented, or reused outside their intended context

SmartSec Academy reserves the right to revoke or invalidate certificates issued in error or obtained improperly.

6. Organisational Use and Responsibility

Where Services are provided through an organisation:

• The organisation is responsible for user access management
• Training completion data may be shared with the organisation for assurance purposes
• Users acknowledge that training participation may be required as part of employment or policy obligations

7. Intellectual Property

All content, materials, trademarks, and platform elements are the property of SmartSec Academy or its licensors.

Nothing in these Terms grants users ownership or licensing rights beyond what is necessary to access and use the Services as intended.

8. Availability and Changes to the Services

We aim to operate the Services reliably but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

SmartSec Academy may:
